It’s been hot in Southern California lately. I know that Summer is supposed to be warmer here. Right now, it is unseasonably hot.

A day or so ago, it was 78F/25C at noon in Lancaster, California. Lancaster is part of Los Angeles County. It is on the edge of the Mojave Desert.

Meanwhile, at the coast in Redondo Beach at the edge of the Pacific, it was 92F/33.

Life will get better or at least the National Weather Service forecast is calling for a sharp drop in the temperature. The high at the local beaches is predicted to reach 94F/34C today. By Sunday, the temperature should drop off to 68F/20C at the beach.

Time to put my long pants back on by Sunday.
