Weekend Preview - March 1st
Ohmygod, its March 1st already
Where is this year going and why is it going so fast? Maybe time goes by faster as you get older. Or, maybe, you just notice things like this more when you are older.
February Visitors
We had a total of 478 visitors to the blog in February. This was down slightly from January’s 500 visitors and December’s 505 visitors.
When you account for the fact that February has three fewer days than December or January, the total visitor count is much more robust. Assuming there were three extra days in the month and the visitor count remained at its monthly average of 17 per day, we would have had a total of 529 visitors.
Granted, this is about what Doug gets on his blog in a single day. I can take a certain degree of satisfaction because the overall visitor trend is up and steady. January and February were rough months with no postings in the middle of the week while I was off teaching.
I do appreciate each of you who took time out of your day to visit the blog.
If you enjoy coming here, please mention the blog to your acquaintances. If you think the blog can be improved, please send me a comment. You can post comments anonymously if you want to do that.
Weekend Preview
My big plans for the weekend are not that exciting.
I need to start working on the income tax returns and finish them up. I will be doing my taxes as well as Doug’s and his mother’s returns.
I also need to make a trip out to Doug’s house to drop off some shirts so my ex-wife can sew some buttons back on them. I think I have three shirts and a jacket that need sewing. Doug can bring the shirts and jacket back when he comes out next week for his internship work.
Naturally, I will be able to see all of the weekend episodes for DAE JO YOUNG and maybe I will watch BAD LUCK BRIDE.
I picked up my mail this afternoon. No bills so it was a good mail delivery. I had an invitation to go to a retirement planning seminar and lunch. It was sponsored by an insurance company so I know the program will feature, surprise surprise, insurance products. The presenter’s name is, and this is not a joke, Tamberley Much.
What sort of a name is Tamberley and what parents would name their daughter Tamberley?
On the plus side of the ledger, she did graduate from the University of Southern California like my Brother. I don’t think he knew anyone by that name when he was there.
The New Stylist
Saturday morning is the trip to the new stylist for the first time. She is located in the Belmont Shore section of Long Beach so that puts me about half way to the Orange Curtain and the 949. I can cruise on down the 405 to Doug’s after my haircut.
If my haircut turns out well, I plan to ask the new stylist if I can take her photo and then put the photo in the blog. She has sharp scissors in her hands and it would not be a great idea to upset her. One never knows how she might react.
Woman of the Moment
I am almost certain that I have run out of matching photos or photos from a group sequence like I had up earlier this week. Yesterday was a good example of photos from a group sequence.
Be well and stay happy.

Tamberley Much graduated class of 89 from USC. Her maiden name was Tamberly Earl. Her brother, Brian Earl (who passed in 2005) was also a USC alum from class of 93. Tamberley married David Much who is also a USC alum from class of 90 and she and her husband have a very successful financial business honestly helping people find ways to invest in their retirement with "guaranteed interest rates" so that you have no risk of your money completely disappearing. In this economy, who wouldn't want to make sure they have a guaranteed rate of return? -LNS
