Weekend Preview - June 14th
Weekend Preview
It looks like it is lesson plans and cleaning for me. I will be doing lesson plans for another ten weeks and then I will start all over again with the next term.
The place needs to be cleaned. I do this periodically as you would expect. I will be able to air the place out over the weekend since it will be warm and sunny.
Sunday is the only day that I have something fun to do outside of the place. I will maybe see Jess the Server at El Gringo. I will be going out on Saturday but only to get new batteries in my two watches and to go to the market to pick up some food. That doesn’t sound like a lot of fun for me.
Job Searching and Interviewing
I had a call from a recruiter who came across my resume. He was looking for commercial lenders for a bank in Irvine, California. I am uncertain how good of candidate I am but we will see what develops. It is a bit of a drive but I am willing to do that because I like living at the beach.
Last week, I had sent my resume in for another commercial lender position. I got a call from the recruiter on late Tuesday when I was driving to school. It was too late to return his call because he is in New York. I was able to phone him today; we talked briefly. This job is in downtown Los Angeles; not always the best of areas and it is a drive of sorts. It is a shorter drive than to Irvine. I don’t expect to hear from him until next week, if at all.
Father’s Day
I received my Father’s Day gift from the Princess today. She sent me four DVDs that were on my list of DVDs that I want to have. This is so much easier since there are no returns or wrong sizes or colors involved.
The kids appreciate the uncertainty avoidance as well.
Woman of the Moment
I did not feel all that creative tonight so I will end early with the Woman of the Moment and call it a day for me. I do plan to have a Weekend Bonus Feature tomorrow as well.
